Dear valued members, board members, colleagues, partners, and friends,
With mixed emotions, we write to you today to share the news that, effective July 1, 2023, we will be closing the Worker Center at its current site in NE, DC. This difficult decision has been compelled by the transfer of our primary partner's headquarters to another area of the city. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Washington Digital Media for their unwavering sponsorship and support during our tenure at their facility. Their collaboration has been invaluable to our mission, and we are immensely thankful for the opportunities they have provided us.
As a result, we will be moving our operations to Trabajadores Unidos' main office at 1419 V Street, NW DC Washington DC 20009. All of our services, programs, and activities provided over these years will continue from our main location. We have meticulously planned this transition to minimize any potential impact on our operations, allowing us to continue to serve our community with the same dedication and effectiveness.
