We are inviting you to a dialogue about the situation of Latin America and the Caribbean today, their processes for democracy, and social processes that fight for freedom and non-interventionism.
This panel will focus on issues that Latin America faces today from the Afro-Latino perspective.
This will be a unique opportunity to hear from two Afro-Latinos who are diplomatic leaders from Nicaragua and Venezuela. The focus of this panel is unique for the D.C. community because it will be the first time many of us can learn about how Afro-Latinos are affected by current neoliberal policies in the Americas.
We expect that this event will attract cross-section of the D.C. community. We are open to your thoughts and ideas about how the discussion could be educational and lively.
